My name is Patrick Swelgin. I graduated from Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, GA with a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Since I graduated in December of 2008, I have been working for Rockwell Automation [NYSE: ROK]. I currently work in the Leadership Development Program. It is a 2 year training program in which I work four, six month, jobs in Marketing, Development Engineering, Customer Support and Quality.
Upon completion of the program, I will take on a full time job (TBD) somewhere inside the company. The idea of my job is to understand the depth of knowledge that Rockwell has and find a good fit for myself inside the company as a full time employee. My career aspirations are to obtain an MBA and to, one day, start a successful business.
Outside of my full time job, I also volunteer coach the Freshman lacrosse team at Marquette University High School in Milwaukee, WI.
